GREEN SAUCE PASTA

This sauce is perfect as a starter puree for Stage 1 babies but is also a great sauce for pasta for later stages. It can be frozen too, so make plenty and pop any leftovers in the freezer for another day.

A simple, quick recipe for your little one to enjoy, smooth or with pasta.

INGREDIENTS

  • 80g frozen peas
  • ½ white onion diced
  • 120g frozen spinach
  • 40g unsalted butter
  • 15g grated parmesan

METHOD

  • 1 Put the parmesan to one side and place all of the other ingredients in a saucepan.
  • 2 Cook on a medium heat for 8-10 minutes or until everything is lovely and soft.
  • 3 Spoon the sauce into a food processor, along with the parmesan, and blitz until you have a lovely creamy consistency.
