Proud to once again be supporting City Harvest London

Child poverty and hunger have reached critical levels in the UK. Recent statistics reveal that 4.5 million children are living in poverty with 3.1 million living in food insecure households. This year alone a staggering 2.3 million emergency food parcels were distributed in the UK,  alarmingly, 900,000 of these were designated for children.

The ongoing cost-of-living crisis and high energy costs are expected to worsen the situation, especially for families already struggling to make ends meet.

This donation now stands at over 20,000 baby food meals which City Harvest will distribute to organisiations supporting those families most in need. This substantial contribution is the biggest donation of Baby Food City Harvest have received and marks the second consecutive year that we have supported this fantastic charity.

City Harvest London, rescue approximately 80 tonnes of surplus food every week and delivering it to over 350 charities. Their impact is far-reaching, with over 51 million nutritious meals provided to date. Beyond alleviating food insecurity, City Harvest plays a pivotal role in reducing the environmental impact of food production and waste.
