CORONATION SCONES
Try these delicious savoury scones. They're weaning-friendly, quick and super yummy.
TOP TIP: You can freeze these scones uncooked or after cooking.
Uncooked - simply cut the scones out, then place them in a lined Tupperware in the freezer.
For freezing cooked, allow to cool then place in a freezer bag.
INGREDIENTS
- 225g self raising flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 55g no salt butter
- ½ courgette grated
- 80g cheddar cheese grated
- 100ml milk
METHOD

1 Stir the flour and baking powder together then rub in the butter.

2 Add in grated cheese and courgette.

3 Slowly add the milk a few tablespoons at a time, you might not need it all. Bring it together to form a dough.

4 Roll out gently then cut into circles or triangles.

5 Brush the tops with any leftover milk and pop into the oven at 200°C for 10 - 12 minutes.

6 If you want to add flavours then stir them in with the flour and baking powder.
