SIMPLE SPICED PUREE (AND SOUP!)
Wondering how to make cooking for weaning SUPER easy and stress-free?.. Only make one meal!
Try this Two-in-One Simple Spiced Puree - it’s a handy recipe for those at the beginning of their weaning journey and also makes enough for a delicious soup. Mmm... 😋
TOP TIP
Make plenty of this and keep it in the freezer in an ice cube tray for quick and easy meals.
INGREDIENTS
- Babease Thai Chicken Curry
- ½ squash batons
- 1 small courgette batons
- 2 sweet potato batons
- 1/2 red onion
- 100ml no salt vegetable stock
- Olive oil
METHOD
-
1 Cut all your vegetables into finger sized batons - this means that you can keep some aside for finger foods during meal times. Pop them all onto a roasting tray.
-
2 Cover with foil and into the oven for 30 minutes.
-
3 At this stage you can simply puree what you have or you can add the Babease Thai Chicken Curry to the blender along with the vegetables to add extra flavour.
-
4 Whizz everything together and take out enough for your little ones meal and some for the freezer for another day.
-
5 The rest can be made into a soup for you by just adding the stock.
